江湖的传说：王立伟油画个展

2009年6月20日15：30分，主题为《江湖的传说》的王立伟个人油画展在观音堂画廊街北京油画学会开幕。王立伟，来自大西北的一位画家，他的画作首先带给我们一种扑面而来的纯朴气息和别样的生活视角，透过其作品特别是暖灰的色调与彪悍的人物，又似乎有一种中国西部的气息，这让我联想到中国的一部西部片《双旗镇刀客》，电影中时时让我们感受到一种恐惧感，更确切的说是大盗即将来临的一种压迫感，这种压迫感通过双旗镇上的居民的表情传递给了观众，最终人单势孤的少年刀客战胜了凶悍的大盗，但实际上他的勇气却是来源于腿有残疾的老爹，从那位老爹身上我们领略到了真正意义上的英雄主义。俗话说种瓜得瓜，种豆得豆，王立伟自幼深受这种英雄主义的影响，童年时代在小人书里看到的那些英雄形象长大以后成为在他心底里时时涌动的激情。那些代表中国传统文化中英雄主义、侠义精神的形象，承载了王立伟儿时的记忆、少年时的希望和成年后的梦想，这些形象并不是某一位或某几位侠士，而是久久留存于画家心中的侠义英雄形象的一种凝聚。创作的过程同时又是对儿时生活的一种回味，有时自己也似乎变成了画中的人物。我想他们也同样能够引起许多观赏者的共鸣，作品把我们又带回到了童年，带到了已经逝去的久远的英雄主义年代。 At 15:30, June 20, 2009, Wang Liwei’s personal oil painting exhibition titled with Legend of Jianghu will be opened in Guanyintang Wenhua St. Beijing Arts Academy and a good many personages in artistic circle will be invited to present..Wang Liwei"s works, succinct in picture, is an artist who came from the northwest of China. His works bring us a smell of simplicity and alternative angle of life all of sudden. The warm gray tone and fierce figures in his work, which is also the smell of west China, reminds me of a Chinese western movie The Swordsmen in Double-flag Town. In this movie, we feel uneasy off and on. To be specified, it is oppressed feeling when the robbers are coming which impresses viewer by inhabitant’s expression. Eventually, the disadvantaged youngster swordsmen beat the robbers with the courage from the crippled father. It is the father that we appreciate the true heroism. As a saying is as you sow, so will you reap, Wang Liwei, from his childhood, was profoundly influenced by heroism. Heroes’ image in childhood picture-story books become enthusiasm constantly springing up in his heart after his grown up. Those image representing heroism, errantry spirit in Chinese traditional culture and carrying his childhood memories, boyish wishes, dreams of grown up, is not merely one or several heroes, but also a condensation of errantry hero image in the artist’s heart perpetually. The process of creation is also a recollection of his childhood life. He himself sometimes becomes a figure in the painting. I think they can also be empathized by many views, which bring us to childhood and heroism era ceased long before.The exhibition will close in July 20. |
