　　俯视的广角是一种形式，也是一种与族群既疏离又关联的心里感受，周金华笔下描绘的社会景观是在一种当下发生的具体社会时间的背景和在历史、现实各种合力的对峙中显现出来的，表现了那些宏观的社会潮流是怎样影响这个"公共空间"，乡村或城市民众怎样生存在这个空间的细节，以及社会政治、改革开放又怎样渗透到大众的日常生活领域。在街头"物质空间"的市井文化或自然景观的元素里找寻各种社会矛盾的碰撞。在建构作品的同时，也在慢慢卸载那些岁月残留下的碎片，对于那些浸泡在街头气息里的大众而言，他们或许失去一个旧的世界，却没有得到一个新的世界。
　　
　　The style of "overlooking" provokes subjective feelings according to the viewer. Whilst upon first glance, it may appear that the people illustrated in the scene are all interacting around a certain event,over time it may emerge that these people are actually acting independent of one another and the event itself. Zhou Jinhua"s paintings depict social landscapes that occur during specific eras of society and history. He aims to capture various aspects of reality, including how macro-social trends impact "public space" and how the people of the villages and the cities survive in this "public space".His work also illustrates how socio-political effects on the communities, as well as "reform and opening up" infiltrate the daily lives of the communities within this "public space". The viewer can discover these themes within the conflicts of social contradictions depicited on the streets and natural landscape of Zhou Jinhua"s portrayals. Slowly he deconstructs the illustrated events in his scenes - the world of these disorientated characters have been upheaved and a new certainty has yet to be discovered.
