<p>森林是什么？我们</p>
<p>为什么不让它停歇？</p>
<p>所有的，那些正在</p>
<p>森林里深情漫步的作家：</p>
<p>哎！<b>何必重复旧人的足迹</b>。</p>
<p>走出来晒晒太阳吧！</p><br/>
<p>但丁来过，循着维吉尔笔下</p>
<p>那黑暗，又丰硕的林中沼泽；</p>
<p>而朗费罗哀伤的注释，</p>
<p>一字一句，或者在数行之外</p>
<p>隔着翻译固执的距离</p>
<p>又有着怎样的效果？</p><br/>
<p>当然我也欣赏那些</p>
<p>天蛾的飞舞之途，纳博科夫</p>
<p>巧妙地模仿了普罗斯特笔下</p>
<p>山楂树边的小路。</p><br/>
<p>但是当我在林中迷失，</p>
<p>我会遵循诗歌的指引：</p>
<p>多想每日都能听到桑德海姆；</p>
<p>弗洛斯特我已读遍，</p>
<p>无数次来到他笔下的岔路口；</p>
<p>或者偶然遇到</p>
<p>别人捡拾的柴堆。</p>

<p>再一次迷失我仍感自豪。</p><br/>
<p><b>后记</b>：翻译的固执。原诗中谈到朗费罗对但丁的翻译，未置明显的评判，但从”but”,”insistence” 诸词看，实持怀疑。作者常存固执，译者亦有之。诗人认为诗歌不可译，论诗者亦以为是。但译者却执意译之，且夹杂私自之理解和创作，不可谓不固执也。原诗嵌入很多西方文学中的人物和作品，不熟读，自是难解其意，因此，译之示于外人，为固执也。原诗句式整洁，音韵巧妙，甚至连多音节的人名如Nabokov都能押韵，实无法译传，而译者硬舍此妙处而译，为固执也。原诗在原语原文化或者原作者的理解里，或许有更复杂更巧妙更深刻之含义，而译者仅会皮毛，而执意译之，称译文代表原作，为浅显之固执也。诗人深知此固执之意，用之与朗费罗，我辈岂能比朗氏？作者亦影说所有译诗者也。</p>就诗歌而言，作者历数著名诗文中对森林之利用，劝当代诗人远离森林，或许透着西方之个人与创新之思维吧。在中国，众人以访古探胜为必修之课业，吸收故人遗风，实为雅韵。西湖为诗人所踏遍，区区树林，再踏何访？ <br/>
