丹麦女诗人克丽丝滕森长诗《字母表》

英格·克丽丝滕森（Inger Christensen，1935—2009）：丹麦实验派女诗人、小说家、散文家。近年来，与澳大利亚诗人穆雷（Les Murray）、瑞典诗人特兰斯特罗姆（Thomas Transtromer）、叙利亚诗人阿杜尼斯（Adonis）、比利时诗人克劳斯（Hugo Claus）、韩国诗人高银、加拿大诗人阿特伍德、大陆诗人北岛、巴勒斯坦诗人达维什（Mahmoud Darwish）、芬兰女诗人基尔皮（Eeva Kilpi）等频频进入诺贝尔文学奖提名。2008年3月22日，克劳斯逝世。8月9日，达维什逝世。2009年1月2日，克丽丝滕森逝世。克丽丝滕森生于丹麦日德兰半岛东海岸的维捷镇（Vejle），父亲是裁缝，母亲嫁人前是厨师。自维捷高级中学毕业后，克丽丝滕森移居哥本哈根，随后进入奥胡斯师范学院学习，1958年毕业。在此期间，她开始在Hvedekorn杂志发表诗作，并接受诗人、批评家保罗·博伦（

oul Borum，1934–1995)的指导。1959年，与博伦结婚，1976年离异。早年出版诗集《光》（Lys，1962）和《草》（Græs，1963），主要试验语言自身的限度。1963年至1964年，她任教于霍尔拜克艺术学院（College for Arts in Holbæk）。60年代，她的主要成就是杰作《它》（det，1969），涉及对哲学、社会、政治、美学问题的探索，整本诗集几乎以咒语般的语调写成，纠缠着爱与恐惧、威力与无力之间的紧张。另有诗集《四月信札》（Brev i april，1979）、《字母表》（Alfabet，1981）、《死亡之诗》（Digt om døden，1989）、《光与草》（Lys og Græs，1989，未早期两本诗集之合集）、《蝴蝶谷》（Sommerfugledalen，1991）、《诗选》（Samlede digte，1998）等。其中诗集《字母表》是其代表作。《蝴蝶谷》以商籁体探索生命的脆弱和必死性。她认为诗歌是“一场游戏，可能是一场悲剧的游戏——一场我们与世界游戏、世界以自身的游戏与我们游戏的游戏”。其诗歌主要英译者为苏珊娜·妮德（Susanna Nied）。此外，她出版过多部小说《永动机》（Evighedsmaskinen，1964)、《阿佐诺》（Azorno，1967)、《彩绘房间》（Det malede værelse，1976）。《彩绘房间》重述了意大利文艺复兴时期画家曼坦那（Andrea Mantegna，1431—1506），采用多种叙事角度（画家秘书马西里奥、土耳其法法拉公主、画家的小儿子）。剧本《阴谋者》（Intriganterne，1972）、《乌法的冬夜》（En vinteraften i Ufa og andre spil，1987）。散文集《迷宫局部》（Del af labyrinten，1982）。儿童文学作品《未知大旅行》（Den store ukendte rejse，1982）、《Mikkel og hele menageriet》（1990）。其大部分散文、儿童文学作品、剧本结集为《秘密状态》（Hemmelighedstilstanden，2000）。    《字母表》是克丽丝滕森1981年创作的一首长诗，同时出版单行本诗集。这是她代表作。以名词罗列为主，每首诗集中处理以同一个字母为首的单词，从a到n，即从丹麦语的abrikostraerne（杏树）到nat（夜），英语从apricot trees到nights。句首均采用小写，涉及的名词基本为复数形式，这些无法在汉译中体现出来。每首诗的行数以诗按照费波纳奇数列（Fibonacci mathematical sequence）排列，即后一首诗均是前两首的行数的总和（0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34……）。这里选译的是从a到h的前八首。英译者是苏珊娜·妮德。 AlphabetInger Christensen 1 apricot trees exist, apricot trees exist 2 bracken exists; 确实是以罗列为主。汉译的意义显现了，但意义之音确实无法体现。
